Let them be little.
That phrase keeps popping up in my mind when going through this collection. I can’t help but feel a little emotional when looking through these images.
Our babies are only babies for a tiny fraction of our lives. They’ll give us too-wet kisses, flowers with roots still attached, scrapes of mud across our thighs after carrying them on our hip. Sooner than I’ll expect, my boy will be moving mountains, he’ll no longer need his mommy in the way little boys do.
I know I’ll miss it dearly.
Thank you Tom and Ute. You allow your babies to be little (and big when they want to).
Again, from one parent to another, thank you. You’re an inspiration.
… ok now I’m crying.
